Team Mental Development Course

Our mental development team training virtual course is designed specifically by youth female athletes who want to strengthen their individual mental game but also help improve team dynamics. In partnership with Tara Arkes registered psychologist with Simply Counseling, this course brings techniques backed by science and the lived in experience with sport from Jenelle Dae. The course is designed to help youth females move through the unique challenges they face and equips them with strategies and tools to boost confidence, focus, resilience and team communication.

What’s included:

  • Basic anatomy of the brain and how it works.

  • Understanding the role of mental strength in softball and how preparation improves performance 

  • Developing a compassionate response to perceived failures or mistakes and positive self talk

  • Retraining automatic negative thoughts 

  • Managing nerves before and during games

  • The power of body language and presence on the field

  • Tools and strategies to use pre- during and post completion including visualization and grounding techniques
